We are currently looking for a Plastic Surgeon with a DHA license or an eligibility letter with experience in cosmetic and aesthetic procedures to join our team in Dubai.
The Plastic Surgeon is expected to be very well experienced with a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license, specializing in performing reconstructive, cosmetic, and corrective surgeries. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a reputable healthcare group is a must. Must be able to perform consultations and specialized procedures in the highest available quality and standards.
Plastic Surgeon Responsibilities:
Offer consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients who are interested in plastic surgeries
Evaluate patients’ health conditions and apply appropriate reconstructive, cosmetic and corrective medical treatments
Meeting with patients, taking their histories and examining their files in order to provide them with the best surgical options.
Perform surgeries on patients who want to augment and/or beautify certain body parts
Perform consultations with patients who suffer from birth defects, injuries, or burn wounds, or those who want to enhance their physical appearance.
Perform various non-invasive treatments
Outlining all the risks and benefits associated with the surgery prior to the procedure.
Preparing patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Make sure that surgical equipment is sterilized
Follow up with patients and provide appropriate medical care
Prescribing medication like painkillers, and antibiotics, and providing aftercare advice to patients.
Scheduling follow-ups to remove stitches, inspect incisions, and monitor the patient’s healing.
Explain the risks and dangers of surgical procedures to patients
Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
Handling various administrative duties like updating patient records and clinic policies.
Skills
A degree in medicine
DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license
At least 3 years of experience as a plastic surgeon
In-depth knowledge of cosmetic and aesthetic procedures
Additional courses and training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contraindications
Outstanding patient management skills
Proven communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking
Fluent in English

Attention to details
Quick learner with a flexible personality to adapt to different environments
